How much do I have to donate every month to join the ChildFund Village?
Anyone can join our giving community, whether you donate $10 a month or $100.
How do I know my monthly donation makes a difference?
We’ll show you! Whether you’re checking your inbox, scrolling on social media or watching the latest episodes of our exclusive ChildFund Village video series, you’ll get regular updates from us on where and how your tax-deductible donations for children are changing lives. Your donations can help kids in Kenya stay safe from violence, help kids in India get better access to health care or help kids in the U.S. improve their literacy skils – and so much more.
What are my payment options?
Our monthly giving program uses auto-pay, meaning that after you make your first monthly donation, your tax-deductible gift will be auto-deducted from your account around the same time each month after that. (Don’t worry – you can cancel anytime if you change your mind!) We accept major credit and debit cards like Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX, as well as electronic bank transfer – which is preferred, since it saves us credit card processing fees (meaning more money for children!).
How is joining the ChildFund Village different than sponsoring a child?
Monthly giving supports our general fund, which can be used flexibly to support children’s greatest needs anywhere and anytime. That’s why our ChildFund Village members are so critically important – they make everything we do for kids possible. Sponsorship, on the other hand, provides donors with a personal, one-to-one connection with a child, and sponsorship donations can only be used within that specific child’s country.
Whether it's used to help kids in Kenya access clean water, help kids in India resist child marriage, or help kids in the U.S. learn how to manage their mental health, your monthly donation is always hard at work giving children a better start in life.
How can I view my giving history and receipts?
To see a record of your donations for children, create an account on ChildFund.org by clicking “Account” at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Once you’ve created an online account, you can easily view your giving history and obtain your statements.
