Sponsor A Child

The generosity of a kind sponsor will be a blessing for Yatta, who is the only child to her parents. The child lives with her grandparents and mother in a remote village in the east of Sierra Leone. Her parents have separated so her father is living elsewhere but visit them once in a while. She is attending the community school constructed by ChildFund in the community. Her mother is a student and her grandparents depend on small scale farming with little annual income. The money earned is not sufficient to meet the day to day expenses and other requirements for the child and the family. They live in a house built with bricks. The floor is rough and the roof is covered with zinc. Yatta needs help to have a good education and enjoy a happy childhood. Therefore, if she receives assistance from a kind sponsor, she will be fortunate enough to attend to her studies well to become a useful citizen in the future.
