Nishnika, a sweet little girl, lives in the tranquil hills of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka, a place known for its cool, misty mornings and stunning greenery. Nishnika enjoys playing with sand, creating small castles. Though too young for school, her family dreams of a brighter future where she can receive the education she deserves. Her father works as a full-time wage laborer on a vegetable estate, while her mother works as an estate worker. With an annual income of just $1200, providing three balanced meals a day and covering the cost of education for their child is a constant challenge. The family resides in a humble home with cement walls and floors and a tin-sheet roof. They rely on water from a common well and have a toilet facility, but without electricity, their daily lives are even more difficult. They are in desperate need of support to help improve their living conditions. A sponsor’s contribution would provide the resources needed for Nishnikas education and a brighter future.
