Omasio is a little boy who lives in the southern part of Mozambique. He lives with his mother and grandmother in a very small house made of concrete. The grandmother of Omasio is a farmer, so they live from agriculture. They consume part of their production and sell the other part to be able to buy other types of food, like rice and fish, school material and clothes. They live in an area where it is difficult to have access to clean water or electricity and they have to walk long distances to find water. On his free time, Omasio enjoys riding a bike. He also enjoys helping his family with the housework. In the future he would like to become a police officer. The family of Omasio believes that with the help from ChildFund and partners Omasio will have the chance of a better future and their lives will be better.
