This is Arisbeth, but her family lovingly calls her Aris. Unfortunately, Arisbeth’s father abandoned her and her sister. While the mother works, the girls stay with their grandmother. The mother earns approximately 5 USD per day. Aris speaks Spanish and Náhuatl, and attends primary school. Arisbeth and her family live in a borrowed house. Arisbeth suffers from overweight. She weighs 26 kg and she is 1.17 m tall. Her diet consists on tortillas, coffee, cookies, eggs, beans, soup, and vegetables. Arisbeth enjoys the patron saint’s festival because she likes to see the dance performances and the rodeo. She likes playing hide-and-seek with her sister. You can become a light in Arisbeth’s path by offering her your friendship. She will also attend the workshops where she will learn about self-care, self-esteem and how to use technology and stay safe. Your support will bring joy to her life.
