Meet Mireya. Her parents strive to keep her healthy. The father works as an employee and earns approximately 3 USD per day. The mother stays at home, taking care of the children. Mireya has 2 siblings. This low income becomes quite an obstacle to put the food on the table. Mireya speaks Purepecha and Spanish, and attends primary school, at an early grade. Her diet includes eggs, beans, oatmeal, milk, chicken, fish, lentils, rice, soy, cookies and tortillas. Luckily, shes thriving and weighs 17.8 kg and shes 1.13 m tall. Mireya enjoys Christmas watching the Christ Child Birth representation and decorating her tree. Sometimes a little help can do much in the life of a girl like Mireya.
