Thushara lives with his parents and a sister in a serene village in the Central Province of Sri Lanka, within the scenic Nuwara Eliya District. Their modest home, though incomplete, has cement walls, a tin sheet roof, and a cement floor. The family has basic amenities such as tap water, electricity, and a toilet, but their living conditions remain simple and challenging. His father works as a full-time wage laborer, earning only $1200 annually, while his mother is a housewife, managing the home. Despite their tireless efforts, the family struggles to provide three meals a day and meet the education expenses for their children. The financial strain makes it difficult for them to fulfill all their daily needs and dreams for the future. Thushara is still too young for school, but his parents hope for a better future for him. They are looking for a sponsor to help ease their financial burden. With a sponsors support, Thushara would be able to access education, offering him the chance to build a brighter future and create opportunities beyond their current struggles.
