Pavishna lives with her parents and two sisters in a quiet village in the Central Province of Sri Lanka, nestled in the scenic Nuwara Eliya District. Their home, though still unfinished, has cement walls, a tin sheet roof, and a cement floor. While they have access to tap water, electricity, and a toilet, their living conditions are simple and far from ideal. Her father works as a full-time iron worker, earning a modest $1200 per year, while her mother is employed at a nearby tea estate. Despite their hard work, the family faces challenges in providing sufficient food for their children and covering their education costs. Pavishna, being too young to attend school, still has a long way to go before starting her education. However, her parents dream of a better future for her. They are in need of a sponsor who can help alleviate their struggles. With a sponsor’s support, Pavishna will have the opportunity to receive an education and build a brighter future. This assistance would ease the familys financial burdens, giving them hope for a future filled with opportunity and growth.
