Shaswin Prathev is a young child living in the heart of Sri Lankas Central Province, a picturesque yet challenging region where life is simple but struggles are many. His family, though living in their own house, faces great hardships. The house is still incomplete, with only cement walls and a tin sheet roof, leaving them vulnerable to the elements. Despite having basic amenities like water from their well, electricity, and toilet facilities, the family’s financial situation is tough. With his father working as a mason and earning a modest income of just $1000 annually, they often worry about how they will afford their childs future, especially the costs of education. His mother stays at home, caring for him, but with so little income, the family’s needs are hard to meet. In these difficult circumstances, they continue to dream of a better future for Shaswin, hoping that a generous sponsor will help ease their burden and provide the support they desperately need.
