Susan is a playful and stubborn young girl. Together with her parents and siblings, they come from the Eastern part of Uganda. On a small piece of land less than an acre is where they stay and cultivate crops like cassava, maize for food. Because the family is growing, the land is quite small to yield what is enough for consumption by the family leaving them with inadequate food supply. It is a threat to the family as in such a condition, they are forced to sell off the surplus which would support them with basic needs to hire land and at the end of it all the family is left with nothing to save. The father had a stall of silver fish but due to government restrictions at the lake, the commodity became hard to get and suppliers who manage to get sell it expensively which forced him to withdraw from the business due to lack of capital. The family now finds difficulties in accessing basic needs due to lack of an income generating activity making survival very hard. Susan needs your sponsorship if her life is to change as well as her family.
