This is Pedro. He belongs to a humble family. The father is absent. Pedro currently lives with a stepfather, who is a farmer that earns approximately 7 USD per day. The mother takes care of the children at home. Pedro has one brother. This low income becomes quite an obstacle to put the food on the table. Pedro speaks Totonac and Spanish, and attends primary school, at an early grade. He lives in a borrowed house, and his diet includes coffee, bread, beans, soy, chicken, tortillas, and eggs. Unfortunately, he presents mild malnutrition. Pedro enjoys the Day of the Dead helping his mom with the altars and watching the hot air balloon festival. Please, lend Pedro a helping hand. With your kind support, hell participate in workshops aimed to discover and develop his skills. He will also learn about self-care, self-esteem and how to protect himself from violence. These workshops will support him much at school, always trying to guide his steps in the correct direction.
