These low-income parents continually struggle to put the food on the table and keep the children thriving. Ulises speaks Spanish and attends preschool, at an early grade. This family lives in a borrowed house, without a refrigerator. Ulises diet consists of bread, milk, hot chocolate, noodles, ham, vegetables and eggs. Against the odds, he is healthy and weighs 15 kg and he is 1.10 m tall. Ulises enjoys the Three Kings Day writing a letter to the Kings and eating the traditional bread.
