Natcha or View is a girl who was born into a needy family that lacks opportunities in many aspects. Her father and mother broke up, and her father has never stayed in touch or paid child support. She lives with her mother and stepfather. Her mother is from Laos and making brooms for a living, her stepfather is hired to make gong and their income is irregular. Her family does not have a farmland to work their own and most of their earnings would be spent on milled rice for family. They need to find money to raise View who is of school age; the burden is increasing more which makes it difficult for the family.
