Luisa and her family dwell in a house made of light materials surrounded with banana plants. It is built in a rural area and surrounded with ornamental plants and some fruit bearing trees that usually consumed by the family. The family is using charcoal and firewood in cooking and they are fetching water from a communal faucet. The head of the family works as delivery boy and earn $80.00 in a month while Luisa’s mother is a plain housewife. Luisa is fondly called “Sitay” by her family.  She is friendly and jolly. She likes eating vegetables, fish and egg, while enjoying dance music and cartoon shows. She spends much of her time engaged in local games with her friends. Although Luisa is not in school, she starting to recognize primary colors and basic shapes and is currently learning to color. She dreams of becoming a teacher in the future. At the very young age she is now helping her mother in fetching their bed and sweeping their yard.
