Tionge lives in Rufunsa district which is situated about 180Km from Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. She has three brothers in her family. Tionge comes from a family where the parents barely afford basic necessities such as health and education. The family mainly grows corn for food consumption. Despite all the effort, the family makes less than US$300 which is not enough to carter for all basic necessities, hence enrolling Tionge in the program. She’s not in school yet due to her young age and likes playing with toys. It is her parent’s wish that she meets someone like you who will leave an indelible mark on Tionge as well as the family.
