Caroline is a cheerful child. She loves to play with dolls and balls made locally with local materials. She is not yet in school due to age and distance to school. She is unable to express hopes and dreams clearly. She lives with her mother and brothers. She doesnt live with both her parents because they are divorced. They live in Chitemalesa a small farming community east of Lusaka. They live in a three roomed house made of burnt bricks. They lack basic amenities such as clean drinking water. They cover a distance of about 1 kilometer to access clean drinking water from a communal borehole. The family depend on subsistence farming for their livelihood. They grow rain fed crops such as maize and soya beans. Their annual income is about US$ 350. Your sponsorship will go a long way in improving the lives of Caroline and her family.
