Shadreck lives with his parents, two sisters and one brother in one of the villages in Chongwe district. His parents are struggling to provide for a family of 5 members as they have no reliable income. Shadreck’s family depends on subsistence farming for their livelihood. They grow mainly maize and vegetables like cabbage, tomatoes and pumpkin leaves locally known as “chibwabwa”. But due to unpredictable weather conditions, soil infertility and poor cultivation methods, the farm produce is always low, and this cannot meet their basic needs adequately. He is a healthy child. Your sponsorship will help him get an education, medical attention and other essentials that his grandparents are unable to provide.
