Natalia is a brave girl who lives with her mother in the Northern part of Uganda after their parents separated. She attends school and particularly enjoys science as a subject. Her dream is to become a doctor. Their family practices subsistence farming, growing crops like maize, sorghum, and beans. However, they often face challenges with low yields due to changing climate conditions. Their piece of land, about half an acre, is used every year, leading to lower crop productivity. Their home lacks access to clean water, quality education, and better livelihood opportunities. They live in two small grass-thatched houses that accommodate the entire family. With no consistent income source except for occasional sales of surplus crops, providing essentials like clothing, healthcare, and education is very difficult for them. Your support for Natalia can play a significant role in helping her grow into a responsible and capable adult.
