Hope is a cheerful girl living with her parents and siblings in the Northern part of Uganda. Their home is a grass thatched house made of wattle and packed dirt. She is always wearing a smile and her face radiates joy, especially since she was enrolled in a nearby Kindergarten, although, the distance to the school initially caused some delays. Her favourite meal is soup and rice and she delights in playing with balls. Her parents do occasional labour to earn money for their meals and also engage in small scale farming to support their household. However, their combined efforts are not enough to meet all their needs. Her family uses kerosene for lighting which is very risky since it can easily set the house on fire if not carefully handled. Sponsoring Hope will have a significant impact on improving her future and overall wellbeing.
