Martha is a happy young girl who lives with her parents and sibling in Northern Uganda. They have a house made of mud walls and a dirt floor, with a grass roof. Martha enjoys playing with toys and spending time with her friends in the neighborhood. Her favorite meal is corn flour and beans. She goes to school and likes writing activities. Her family relies on farming for their food, growing crops like maize, beans and cassava for themselves. But sometimes, the weather changes affect how much they get from their crops. This makes their income low, about 10 US dollars a month, which is not enough for everything they need. They face a challenge of accessing clean water for consumption, since they fetch water from a seasonal well which dries up during dry season. Your support for Martha and her family can help them access better social services and improve their lives.
