He loves playing chase alongside his brother, while his other interests are drawing and dancing. He does his best in school, with Filipino as his favorite subject, and aspires to become a brave soldier someday. Yanyan lives with his parents and sibling in a small dwelling with minimal electricity and a drinking water source. And while his mother diligently manages their needs at home and assists on the farm, his father works as a public motorcycle driver and as a tenant coconut and rubber farmer.
