Mariama also known as Yama to her family lives in the western part of the country with her parents and a brother. She is attending the village Nursery School and, is very interested in learning but lacks most of her educational needs. She likes playing with friends during her leisure time.  She is a happy child, active and in good health. She is seeking outside support to have a brighter future and a healthy environment to live in. Her father is a driver/ famer and her mother is a housewife. Their earning income is very low, which cannot cater for the basic needs of the family.
