Ndeye is a very smart girl. She lives with her parents and siblings in one of the remote villages of the countryside. Her father is, like most of the people living in this part of the country, a traditional farmer whereas her mother is a brave housewife who stays at home to take care of the family. The father manages to bring home about US $ 800.00 each year after the rainy season. This annual revenue is hardly enough to take care of his family. Ndeye is attending the village kindergarten where she is doing well. After school, she enjoys playing hide-and-seek with her friends and having fun with her dolls. At home she is helpful with small errands. Sponsoring this child will give her more chance to have a good education and health care.
