Mariatou and her family lives in a small rural village of the country in West Coast Region. The Gambia, which is about 147km away from countrys Capital Banjul. The Village have an estimated population of about 234 inhabitants. Her favorite food is coos and milk. She is the third born of her parents. Her parents are peasant farmers who cultivate crops seasonally and the depend on seasonal rains to make their living. Her father cultivates peanuts, coos, cassava and also do domestic work whilst her mother does tomato and pepper cultivation at their background. She needs Childfund assistance in order to realize her dreams in the future.
