Shang-Shang, as Hessalyn is lovingly called, lives with her parents and sibling in a small and simple abode without electricity, with firewood used for cooking, and with their water obtained from a deep well. They do have access to the market, health center, and the school which are within reach. Her father works as a fish vendor, while her mother takes good care of their everyday needs as she also raises native chickens for additional income. Shang-Shang, meanwhile, is a well-behaved and obedient little girl who, although shy at times, enjoys playing house with her friends and sometimes plays with toys cars and trucks. She glows with a cheery personality and is quite sweet once she familiarizes with you! She does her best in school, with Science as her favorite subject, and she aspires to become a great teacher someday!
