Francisca is a young Brazilian girl who lives with her mother, Francisca, on the outskirts of a small town located in the state of Ceara. Their simple home, which is lent to them, has brick walls, rough cement flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. The father has abandoned the home and has not been providing any type of financial support for his child. The mother receives a very small family allowance from the federal government, which is far from enough to meet basic needs. Francisca is curious, cheerful and playful. Her pet name is Lele. She loves riding a bike and playing hide-and-seek in the company of other girls her age. Francisca is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. She attends nursery school and loves painting and coloring. The family is needy and through your support Francisca and her family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation and education.
