Sponsor A Child

Supun is a healthy little boy who lives happily with his brother, sister and parents, in a very pleasant village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. One sister lives separately. Supun is a very thoughtful boy. He helps his mother to sweep the house and gather firewood. His father does cultivation work to earn a living for the family, while his mother looks after the children and attends to the house work and also tries to manage the household expenses with limited resources. Supun attends a school and travels to school in a school bus with his sister. He loves to study Sinhala. He enjoys playing cricket with his friends. The family lives in their own partially built house which has been constructed with wattle and sticks. They have a cemented floor and a clay tiled roof. They use water from their own safely built well and they are fortunate to have access to a water sealed toilet of their own and electricity. Therefore, help received from a kind sponsor will be a blessing for them. With their help and support, Supun will be able to live a comfortable life.
