Debula Ruth lives with both parents and three siblings in North Eastern part of Uganda. Her father is a subsistence farmer while her mother is purely a house wife. The family is struggling to survive with very little income earned out of agricultural work they do. The yield is not enough to sustain the family food needs throughout the year. This forces the family during some hard months to depend on one daily meal. Debula Ruth and family stay in a grass thatched house, made of mud walls and wattle. Debula Ruth is the youngest child in her family currently. She likes playing with toys which are homemade out of local materials. Her general health is good.
