Tharudhini finds joy in making play houses, singing and dancing.  She is also a very thoughtful little girl and helps her mother to sweep the house and gather fire wood for their cooking. Tharudhini and her sister lives happily with their parents in a beautiful village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. She does not attend a school. They live in their own house which has been constructed with wattle and sticks.  The roof is covered with clay tiles and the floor is of clay. The family uses their own safely built well for water and enjoy proper sanitary facilities. However, they do not have access to electricity.  Tharudhini’s father is the sole breadwinner of the family. He does cultivation work  to earn a living for the family and his annual income is around USD500/-. As such, Tharudhini and her family are leading a very difficult life. Therefore, we extend an invitation to a kind Sponsor to join hands in providing care for little Tharudhini and her family.  Your support will definitely be a blessing to little Tharudhini as well as her family.
