Mariama happily lives with her father, mother, sister and grandfather in a small farming community. Both her father and mother are seasonal farmers and they grow cereals and vegetable as means of getting income to take of the family. Mariama sleeps on a local wooden bed with her mother and sister. Mariama is a beautiful and healthy girl. She is intelligent and friendly. She is currently under home based care and will be enrolled in the nursery school when she attains the age of 4. Mariama enjoys playing with peers and toys.
