Sherma is lovingly called Yen-Yen by her family. Although shy at times, her kind and thoughtful ways shine with her fondness for spending time with her family and helping around their humble abode. She also enjoys attending school and watching educational videos, and she loves to role-play as a teacher with her friends. She is being taken care of by her grandparents in their small dwelling made mostly from light materials, equipped with basic water pipings. Living a very basic lifestyle of farm work and spending time at home, they do not have any communication gadgets. Their low income, meanwhile, is barely enough to sustain their needs especially for the increasing needs of Sherma. Nevertheless, they foster resilience and resourcefulness to get through the difficult times.
