Sponsor A Child

Grace lives with the  grandmother, grandfather, mother, aunt, uncle and three (3) cousins in the slum neighborhood of one of the towns near the capital city. The father’s whereabouts are not clearly known. Therefore, the grandfather is the one who provides for the family through his business of selling vegetables from the backyard garden where he makes an estimated income of $32 per month. However, the business is not reliable because it is seasonal, which makes it hard for them family to meet various basic needs and some medical costs because Grace is asthmatic. They live in a house made of cement, the roof is made of metal and the floor is made of cement. In the area where the child lives there are no recreation facilities. Grace is not yet in school because she is still young. She is a very bright and sharp child who likes playing with dolls and cooking in small tins with her friends.
