She enjoys playing badminton and volleyball with her friends and family, and she is fond of the color pink. Lang-Lang is also an industrious girl who does house chores such as washing the dishes, cooking rice, and sweeping. She lives with her family in their small home made out of light materials, situated near a highway. They have their own latrine and minimal electricity, and they raise native chickens and pigs to sustain their needs. And while her father works as a farmer, earning around $55 a month, her mother takes good care of their needs at home.
