Nyimansata lives with her family in a small rural village in the Western Region of the Gambia. Their house is made up of mud blocks with corrugated roof. Her parents are seasonal farmers and the income they get from the farms and garden are not sufficient to meet the basic needs for the year.  At the moment, she is going through parental care and she will be enrolled in formal school in the future. Therefore, based on these fascinating facts about both the child and family that Nyimansata has been enrolled in ChildFund sponsorship to give the family an opportunity to benefit from Family support programs to improve their present situation.
