John Lucas and his family are happy living in the concrete house where they rent, conveniently close to barangay facilities and just few minutes walk from the town proper. With the fathers monthly income of $100.00 as an auto mechanic, supporting the needs of their children is a challenge, barely covering their daily food and school needs. His wife, a dedicated homemaker, diligently tends to their children.  The family have access to electricity through connections with relatives and maintain cleanliness with their own sanitary latrine. They cook foods using firewood and get water from a communal faucet. John Lucas is fondly called “John” by the people close to him. He is now learning to draw and write. He loves eating chicken, apple and banana and her most liked colors are green and black. This cute boy loves watching television and playing basketball.
