Viola is a jolly young girl who lives in the Central western part of Uganda. Viola lives with her mother and siblings in a one roomed house made of cemented walls, roofed with metals and packed dirt floors. Her mother is a vegetable vendor and moves from place to place looking for customers to buy her spinach, cabbage, tomatoes and onions. Things at times get hard for her especially when she fails to get customers due to the many people selling the same items and sometimes, they get rotten due to their short life span leading the mother to earn a monthly income of US 20 dollars. This money is too small to meet the basic needs of the family like quality medication, a good balanced diet and quality education. At school Viola is too bright and enjoys so much literacy and numeracy and her dream is to become a teacher. Sponsoring Viola will enable her to attend classes every day without fail and her dream of becoming a teacher will be possible.
