This is Marcela. She belongs to a humble family. The father works hard as a potter and earns approximately $11 USD per day. The mother takes care of Marcela and her three siblings at home. This low income compromises the wellbeing of the family. Marcela speaks Mazahua and Spanish. She attends the tele secondary school, at an early grade. This family doesnt have a refrigerator. Marcelas diet is based on atole, oatmeal, bread, lentils, vegetable soup, beans, rice, nopales, some wild green edibles and chicken, if the budget allows it. Despite the adverse situation, Marcela is thriving. Please, lend Marcela a hand. With your kind support, shell be able to participate in programs aimed to encourage her to continue studying.
