Emanman is a brilliant young boy from Turkana County in Northern Kenya. They live in a communal land with his parents, two brothers and five sisters in a grass thatched and mud walled hut. They fetch water from a nearby borehole but the water is not safe for human consumption, which predisposes the child and the family to waterborne disease. His parents rely on weaving and selling brooms, to supplement their livelihood the family also is involved in selling firewood and this amounts a total annual income which is below $360, which is not enough to sustain the family needs. The child and the mother visited the zonal office seeking for support. He studies at a closer school within their village. He is in early childhood education playground stage and loves playing rope skipping with his siblings after school.
