Trina the last daughter in the family is a beautiful and quiet baby. She loves being cuddled by her parents and siblings. Trina lives in a family of eight members including her parents and six siblings in a house made of packed dirt floor and grass thatched roof which normally leaks whenever it rains heavily making them discomfortable and exposes them to cold which affects her health. Trina lives in a community with many cases of alcoholism and gender-based violence which may affect her psychologically in the future. Her parents earn from peasant farming done majorly for home consumption a little portion of the crop yield is sold to earn income. On average a month, they earn an estimate 25 US dollars which is not enough to meet their basic needs like paying school fees for the siblings and medical care since they are many. Trina and the family often have only one meal a day which affects the growth and development of Trina and the siblings. Sponsoring Trina will enable her access basic needs and her community will be sensitized on dangers of alcoholism and gender-based violence.
