Natasha also known as Anyadwe by her family members is a happy, talkative, and active girl. She likes sweeping the compound and playing with her friends while at home. She lives with her parents and sibling in one of the remote villages in mid-western Uganda. Her parents depend on peasant farming on rented half acre piece of land for cultivation to earn a living. The crop yields are majorly for food. Her mother sells a small grocery shop to earn extra income, in a week she earns about 5 US dollars, this money is always not enough to meet all their family needs. Natasha and sibling irregularly attend class due failure to pay school fees in time, this affects their overall performance. Natasha lives in community where gender-based violence is rampant, this can affect her in the long run because it normally happens at her sight. Sponsoring Natasha will enable her to study and have a bright future, have access all basic needs and there will be awareness creation on gender-based violence through the programs of the organization.
