Mathieu is a joyful, smart and lively boy. He grows up in La Paz, Bolivia. He is part of an underprivileged community that faces many serious difficulties, including life-altering malnutrition, extreme generational poverty, and poor educational services. With limited resources and toys, he finds joy in simple activities that capture his curiosity and imagination. He attends preschool, where he enjoys his coloring activities. He lives with his mother and aunt in a rudimentary small dwelling made of adobe walls, cement floor and corrugated metal roof. His father abandoned the household. His mother is a salesperson. Her income is around US $ 71.00 per month, which is insufficient and minimal to cover the basics. Like many children in this country, he needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions to grow up as a healthy and productive adult.
