Jhoan is a joyful, quiet and responsible boy. He grows up in La Paz, Bolivia. He is part of an underprivileged community that faces many serious difficulties, including life-altering malnutrition, extreme generational poverty, and poor educational services. With limited resources and toys, he finds joy in simple activities that capture his curiosity and imagination. He attends primary school, where he enjoys his sports classes. He lives with his parents and 3 siblings in a rudimentary small dwelling made of adobe walls, cement floor and corrugated metal roof. His father earns a living as a carpenter, while his mother runs the home. The family income is around US $ 287.00 per month, which is insufficient and minimal to cover the basics. Like many children in this country, he needs your love and support to have access to better living conditions to grow up as a healthy and productive adult.
