Plista is an active girl who likes playing netball with her friends and also supports domestic work like fetching water. Her mother is the sole bread winner who earns a living through practicing small scale farming which has also not been good in the recent past due to the prolonged drought. Plista is enrolled in school but is at the verge of dropping out because her mother can not single handedly attend to her school needs, this threatens her dream of becoming a nurse as her performance has always been affected by her not attending school regularly.
