Sponsor A Child

Grace is a child who lives with her mother, brother, sister and the grandmother in one of the communities in town near the capital city. She has a twin sister whose name is Lonnica. The father lives elsewhere and he doesn’t offer any form of support to the Child because he does not have any source of income. The mother is a street vendor and she sells sausages and small fish at a local market Their level of income is estimated to be 500 per month which is very low to sustain their basic needs. They share a small rented house made of cement/cinderblock whose roof is made of metal and the floor is made of cement. In the area in where Grace lives, there are no recreation facilities so the children resort to playing in the open area which is not safe because some of those areas have open sewer lines, which is a health hazard to the Child. Grace is currently not going to school because she is still young. She is intelligent, outgoing and playing with dolls is one of the things she enjoys doing.
