Sponsor A Child

We are now introducing you the joyful boy named Gelana who lives with his parents and eight siblings in a deprived part of Ethiopia.  His mother is a housewife and his father is a small-scale farmer to make a living.  He is a little child and he has not yet started to go to school.  The community where the child lives in there is lack of potable water, health centers, school facilities, health workers and teacher. The family lives in a small house made up of mud and wood. The family communicates in Oromo local language. Their minimal income, which is very low per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs.  They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement.  In order to overcome the poverty Gelana is facing, he needs to be enrolled in the project to have access for education and health services.  

Ending child poverty begins with Gelana. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
