Miguel is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his parents, Daniel and Josefa, and with a sister and a brother, in a slum area on the outskirts of a city located in the state of Ceara. Daniel takes some odd jobs as an unskilled laborer when available (he is unemployed at this time) and the family receives a small family allowance from the federal government. Miguel is lively and talkative. He likes playing with balls and toy cars. Miguel is considered to have good health, in spite of the poor living conditions and diet. He attends nursery school and loves painting and coloring. Through your support Miguel and his family will have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, education and nutrition.
