Nelsi grows up in a remote community in Cochabamba, which is known for its warm climate and beautiful scenery. She is a joyful, playful and shy girl who loves to play with dolls and football. She attends a local school, where she enjoys her math lessons. She lives with her mother and stepfather in a rudimentary house made of brick walls and corrugated iron sheets on the roof. While they have electricity, they lack adequate sanitation services. Her grandfather is a farmer, while her mother runs the home. The family monthly income comes to around US $ 145.00 per month.  This is barely enough money for a family to sustain itself. Many of the families in Bolivia live with only enough money to scrape by. Through your consistent monthly support, letters and prayers, you will help this child live up to his full potential and make a friend for life.
