Akori is a charming boy who lives in Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. He lives together with his mother, father, two brothers and two sisters. They live in a communal land in a palm leaves thatched house. They get their water from a nearby shallow well whose water is not clean thus predisposing the child to water. The mother is the bread winner who depends on weaving and selling brooms. The family’s annual income is less than $ 360 which hardly meets their basic needs. This challenge has forced the family to struggle hard to get food, medical care, school supply, house supply and other necessities Akori goes to a nearby school in the village, he does well in counting. Akori likes playing with handmade football with his friends during his free time and fetching water.
