Yenul is a little toddler who loves to dance, ride his tricycle and to be with his mother. He lives with his parents in a remote village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. The family lives in their own house which is partially built with cement blocks and the floor is cemented. The roof is covered with asbestos sheets. They do not have access to proper sanitary facilities and electricity and use water from a common well for their needs. His mother is a housewife and his father is the sole breadwinner of the family. He is a farmer of seasonal crops and his annual income is USD470/-which is unpredictable. Therefore, Yenul and his parents are living a very difficult life with a lot of short comings. His earning is a limited amount and insufficient to meet the requirements of the family and to provide any nutritious healthy food to his child. If a kind-hearted person were to step forward to help Yenul and his family, it would make a world of difference to their lives.
