Melody is a humble and quiet young girl who lives with her parents and siblings in a village found in the mid-western part of Uganda. Melody is the youngest child in her family. She has not yet attained school going age and spends most of her time playing with her sibling. The family of Melody depend on farming, the yields are barely good due to over cultivation of their small piece of land leaving the family to have one main meal a day. The community where Melody comes from faces a great challenge of access to clean and safe drinking water, they have to move a long distance of 5 kilometers to get clean and safe water, as her mother goes fetch water, she leaves Melody in the hands of other young children for a long period of time hence these children are exposed to risks of child abuse with no elder person to protect them. Your heartfelt contribution to Melody through sponsorship will help improve on the welfare of her family as they benefit from the different services offered by the project.
